BABY MINE

ERIN MARIE FOREE (WATSON) 06/30/1984

Baby Mine
From "Dumbo"
Music and lyrics by Frank Churchill and Ned Washington

Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part
Baby of mine

Little one when you play
Pay no heed to what they say
Let your eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear
Baby of mine
If they knew all about you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you

From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be
Baby of mine

Okay, so some of the words are weird, remember we are singing the song from the Disney movie Dumbo.

KATE JORDYN WATSON 04/28/2009

One of mine and Erin's favorite lullabies.
(wiping a tear from my eye....)

For Good

WONDERFUL!

ONE SHORT DAY!

I've heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason,
bringing something we must learn.
And we are led, to those who help us most to grow...if we let them.
And we help them in return.
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true.
But I know who I am today, because I knew you.....

(My favorite song from WICKED THE MUSICAL!)

I've had the tickets for a year. The day finally came. One short day. A million memories.

I'm going to be popular! (she already is in my book)
We girls went power shopping. (you're never to young) We didn't buy alot, but we sure had fun just being together.

The best Thai food near Erin's apartment. Can food bring you to a state of Nirvana?
ABSOLUTELY!!

GLINDA: Who can say if I've been changed for the better but...
ELPHABA AND GLINDA: Because I knew you..
GLINDA: Because I knew you..
ELPHABA AND GLINDA: I have been changed...

for good.

I've been a Disney fan forever.....

My first Disney movie memory is watching "Sleeping Beauty" at a drive-in in California. I was raised on Disney. My children were/are raised on Disney. A couple of weeks ago our whole family plus our new granddaughter Kate, continued the Disney traditon. We went to see the new Disney/Pixar movie UP! This 'MIGHT' be my favorite Disney movie ever! If you have not seen it. GO NOW! GO RIGHT NOW! It may well be Disney's finest. It will make you laugh, cry, and sob. Yes sob. Even if your children are grown and out of the house, GO. I can't say enough about how good this movie is. It makes you feel good. It makes you feel happy. It makes you feel that somehow all is right with the world, that we are not in such a bad place. It makes you realize how precious relationships are. It is about overcoming the impossible.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

ps...to my 3 eagle scouts: this movie is you guys! You are sooooo freakin' cute!!!

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.....

ALL IN A DAY'S WORK!

We came back from the valley on Sunday. We all went to see Kate, Erin and Dustin. The kids are so excited to be Uncles and Aunt. I've decided that packing for an overnighter is just as much work as is packing for a week. Anyway, this prompted me to write a list of what I did the next day.

1. Started wet bathing suit laundry.
2. Wrote breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus for the next 2 weeks.
3. Hung up laundry outside.
4. Wrote up grocery list.
5. Continued doing laundry. While down in Phoenix, we bought the kids summer clothes at 2nd hand stores, so naturally these all have to be washed. (our children do their own laundry during the week, I told them I would do this extra just this once).
6. Got ready for work.
7. Worked at the office from 9-3PM.
8. Shopped on Amazon for summer homeschool books.
9. Ordered Erin a babooshbaby stomach thing to help with her c-section.
10.Ordered me something similar to wear while working out. This is supposed to make the tummy weight slide off!
11.Called in prescription refills.
12.During lunch hour, gassed up Durango and went to the manual car wash to take care of all the dead bodies of bugs.
13.Went grocery shopping.
14.Went to bank.
15.Dropped Alexs' suit at the dry cleaners.
16.Recieved in mail baby Kate's first picture!
17.Put in crock pot ingredients for tomorrow's dinner. Put in fridge.
18.Continued laundry.
19.Before going to grocery store, garage door broke. Called neighbor to help me fix it. Jared came and helped too. This took about 1 hour. Jared and I held up the garage door with elbows, knees, stomachs, hands while neighbor was re-winching it. (does this count for exercise, weight training for the day?)
20.Drove to Taco Bell to get dinner, cause I wasn't going to cook!
21. Talked on phone to son Andy in Canada.
22. Did stretching exercises for my back problems.
23. Finished laundry.
24. Gave myself a pedicure and painted my nails.
25. FELL INTO BED AT 8:45PM
Are you tired after reading this. I am.
PS. This is not a normal day, for all of you out there thinking I am some kind of SuperWoman. Believe me, I am not!
I am calling this blog; one for posterity: Fun Foree Family Facts.

The Lusty Month of May!

Sort of........
It's not really May yet, but I am ready for it! The wind has really been blowing in this part of the country for the month of April. I did get a picture of my flowers before the wind tore them apart.
As for the title of this blog....well you would know if you have ever seen Camelot.
Rich people frolicking with no cares....in the beautiful springtime weather. Darn, now I will have to put the movie into my netflix queue.
Still waiting to be a grandma. Erin is due on Monday. I think Kate will arrive this week. All of us are well. Andy is going to be working in Canada for the summer. The boys and Mark will be doing alot of camping for Scouts. I can't wait to see "Wicked" in July with Erin. Summer at the office with the kids will be INTERESTING??? I need a live in cook and Nanny!
HERE'S TO YOUR SPRING AND SUMMER, MAY THEY BE 'LUSTY'.

YARMINCKLE

yarminckle\yarrmeinckle-vb,N: a state of wanting or not, to wake up from a bad/great dream.

Do you love/hate those dreams when you either want to wake up screaming, or better yet want to stay there forever?

I've decided to give a word to this state of mind.(see above). I have made up words to describe situations that do not have a dictionary definition. Just ask my husband. His favorite word from me is 'bimpik'. This is the word you yell at the driver in front of you who has not got the car tires on the sensors in the road that will trigger a green light.

I woke up from a dream state this morning, opening my eyes and wondering what day it was and where I was. When it is a horrifying nightmare this is a good thing. When it involves beautiful people and feelings of wonderment mixed with awe, you just want to stay there and not wake up. Unfortunately you have awoken, you want to go back to sleep and to those great feelings, but try as you may you can not get back there. The 'dream' for me often lingers for the day. This usually results in a great day, or an anxiety filled day. Thank goodness the one I had last night will result in a great day. TGoodnessIF!

May you always have good YARMINCKLES!

Working 9 to 5

13 years ago I left my last job in Jacksonville Florida when we moved to Joseph City Arizona. In December of 2008 I joined my husband at his insurance agency, we brought along our 3 teenagers whom we homeschool. For the first little while it was an adjustment for all of us. It has gotten a little better. Multi-tasking is harder then it was 13 years ago. Age is creeping up on me. The kids are doing FANTASTIC in their on-line schooling program. Business is slow, that's one of the reasons I'm here. I didn't realize 'working' out of the home was going to be such a challenge. I've had to let the house go...something that irritates me. I find myself wishing for less hours in the day, so I could go to bed earlier. Yeah I am complaining a bit. Tomorrow I will have a day off, and I will get my B-12 shot,so I will be in a much better frame of mind. My kids say I don't blog enough. So here you go guys!

"My Girls"

This weekend was girls only! After Jen and I arrived at Erin's house, we were treated to a color and cut each, then it was time for our much awaited Christmas Present! Tickets to see the Lion King at the Gammage auditorium in Tempe Arizona. It was the most extraordinary experience. So much to see, the puppetry, the ballet, the special effects...it felt like an out of body episode, a very cool one. Erin had got us the tickets for Christmas. I guess you could say she knew just what we wanted. The next day we hit the mall, ate out, and shopped for baby clothes for Kate. Needless to say, the child has a huge, but very cute and trendy wardrobe, and she isn't even born yet. Spoiled? You bet ya! Thanks Erin for the great weekend!
